The festival will take the magic online on Sunday 6 September
Usually when it comes to UK summer festivals, it’s a case of saving the best ’til last: End of the Road.
For the past four summers it’s been at this point in the year where we pack our camping kit, forget to include an extra layer because the evenings chill off and always – always – take a wrong turn down a country lane when driving to the beautiful Larmer Tree Gardens.
Except, like every other gathering this season, EOTR 2020 has been pushed back a year because of COVID-19.
But, while that’s gutting, End of the Road are going to set about recreating some of the magic, albeit with a unique digital experience.
Squid, Billy Nomates, Katy J Pearson, The Golden Dregs, and Modern Woman will all perform In The Garden Of Streaming (baby), alongside a host of special Q&As, workshops and more. As part of the stream Loud And Quiet is also delighted to be presenting a collaborative improvisation between two of the best drummers in the game right now: Black Midi‘s Morgan Simpson and solo artist, session musician and musical director, Kwake Bass (Kae Tempest, Sampha, MF Doom).
It’s all happening from 6.45pm on 6th September, and you can lock in here.
Tickets for EOTR’s 2021 edition are available now; they’ve managed to keep much of this year’s exceptional lineup on board, including Pixies, King Krule, and Big Thief.
