The sights of Test Pressing festival 2019 – a loud day in photographs

A Saturday spent with earplugs in

We were honoured to be involved with the second edition of Test Pressing festival this year, which for the first time was held in Hackney Wick: a particularly strange corner of East London where every building is either a rave/sex rave warehouse or a pensioner’s bungalow. It’s the bungalows that are particularly strange, as it slowly dawns on you that nowhere else in the whole city has them. What’s all this space doing so close to the centre of town?

For now, at least, it exists, and across six venues this Saturday, 50 odd bands and DJs experimenting with psych and industrial rock, techno, and other loud electronics made it a frazzling place to be.

Here’s how it looked through the lens of photographers Luis Kramer, Lilly Creightmore and Anna Louise Yorke.
