We've overhauled our magazine
You might have noticed that we’ve not put out an issue in 2018 yet. We can explain ourselves…
At the end of 2017 we decided that it was time for a change in how Loud And Quiet looks and how it is printed. We knew we wouldn’t be able to do an overhaul justice whilst putting out our regular issues, but we’re all done now and back to it. The all new Loud And Quiet arrives in stores this coming weekend – still free, but a lot better.
We’re moving on from the newsprint format to something a bit nicer. Check this out, paper fans – we’ve got 3 (just imagine) different types of paper going on now. I know.
We’ve also added an extra 20 pages, made our reviews longer and have some new regular columns that we’re excited to share.
The fact that we’ve got David Byrne on the cover of this first new issue is something else. He’s joined by features with Lucy Dacus, SHIRT, Quay Dash, Nicky Wire, Richard Russell, Ed Schrader’s Music Beat, US Girls, and the weirdest, daftest one we’ve printed yet with ********.
There’s also a really boring story inside about why this issue is numbered 123 when our last one was 91.
Everything else about what Loud And Quiet is and isn’t remains the same. And I’d like to take this opportunity to thank our design team at B.A.M. who are the only people who could have done this.

It’s an even better idea to subscribe to receive our next 9 issues via the good people at Royal Mail each month.
