Flow Festival Helsinki have just shared their first list of artists that will play next year’s festival from 11th – 13th August in the heart of Finland’s capital city.
It includes some of the best alt. pop artists around, including Caroline Polachek, Shygirl, Jockstrap and FKA Twigs, Suede and one of the very last shows from art-pop cult legends DEVO, who have announced that 2023 will be their last year together.
Finnish Afro-trap pioneer Ege Zulu will also perform with their live band, and new-wave rapper Sexmane, from Finnish town Siilinjärvi.
If you don’t know about Flow yet, each year it takes place in a defunct Suvilahti power plant and its industrial surroundings in downtown Helsinki, and aside from the music features art installations, talks, film and – always important – excellent food.
Full list of acts announced today:
FKA twigs, Caroline Polachek, DEVO, Suede, 070 Shake, Shygirl, Amyl and The Sniffers, Sexmane, Ege Zulu, Ruusut, Yona & Tapiola Sinfonietta, Olavi Uusivirta, and Anna Puu
