AJ Tracey: Midnight Chats – Episode 118
Mums, football, fine dining and rap
Mums, football, fine dining and rap
AJ Tracey started rapping when he was 6 years old. Six!!! Needless to say he’s become very good at it, and he’s also achieved everything he has completely on his own terms – the videos, sales figures and practically everything else make it look as if he’s signed to a major label deal, but he remains a fully independent artist.
This episode of the podcast is a little longer than usual simply because I enjoyed talking to Tracey – real name Ché Wolton Grant – so much.
Topics we cover include: his love for gaming, the Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, mums, fine dining, DIY spirit, his beloved Tottenham Hotspur, Michael Jordan, West London and his 2021 album Flu Game.
